KARACHI. The family of a woman, who was tortured and strangled to death in Hawks Bay Musharaf Colony Karachi, has demanded justice. The family of 20 year old Ayesha said that she had married eight months ago and was pregnant at the time of her death. They said that whoever was involved in the murder should be arrested immediately. Her body was found at her house in Bengali Para, Mochko Police Station area. Her body was taken to Edhi Mortuary after legal proceedings.
Ayesha’s cousin said he was informed of her death over the phone. When he reached the hospital, the police were already present there. He said that his sister was strangled to death and being subjected to brutal torture. ” There are clear signs of torture on her neck and various parts of the body. We demand justice. Whoever is involved in the murder of my sister should be arrested immediately and legal action should be taken”.
