A domestic dispute turned tragic in Orangi Town, where a father allegedly killed his 21-year-old son with a shovel following a heated argument over disobedience.
The incident took place in Raja Tanveer Colony, where the accused, Abdul Ghaffar, was said to have attacked his son, Ali Khan, during a family quarrel. According to police, the assault occurred inside their home and was carried out using a shovel.
The police arrested the suspect at the scene, and recovered the murder weapon. The victim’s body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities. Initial investigations indicated that the killing was the result of an ongoing domestic conflict, with disobedience cited as the motive behind the attack. The police confirmed that Ghaffar remained in custody, and a case had been registered. Further investigation is underway.
