A three-year-old boy on 22-February-2025 lost his life after falling into a manhole in Surjani Town’s Hasan Brohi Goth.
The child, identified as Asadullah, son of Faisal, was rushed to hospital but was later confirmed dead. According to the child’s father, Faisal, the local sewerage line had been blocked, he was him cleaning the manhole. He explained that the cover was left open during the cleaning process. Meanwhile, Asadullah stepped outside to play and, while doing so, accidentally fell into the open manhole. When the child went missing, his mother began searching for him. Upon checking the manhole, she discovered that he had fallen in. The child was immediately rescued and taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors confirmed his death.
