The Sindh Human Rights Commission conducted a comprehensive inspection of Civil Hospital MirpurKhas in December 2023 and subsequently forwarded recommendations to enhance and improve the overall healthcare facilities in the region.
These recommendations were communicated to the Secretary of the Health Department, Government of Sindh, and the Director General of Health Services, Sindh, Hyderabad. The proposed measures include improving infrastructure, installing a solar system, addressing staff shortage, and establishing a Child Protection Committee.
In response to the recommendations, the Director General of Health Services Sindh, Hyderabad, has taken prompt action. Additionally, the Commission has informed the Special Secretary of Development, Development Wing, Health Department, Government of Sindh, about the ongoing follow-up on the recommendations, highlighting the necessary budgetary allocations and actions required.
