This report, titled “Child Protection for Children on the Move,” provides an overview of the role National Commission for Human Rights (NCHR) in Pakistan in promoting and protecting the rights of Afghan refugee children in Pakistan. The report highlights the vulnerability of unaccompanied and separated children and provides suggestions to guide the government in effectively protecting them. It also discusses the background of child migration in Pakistan, including the impact of climate crisis, security tensions, and poverty, as well as the country’s history of providing refuge to Afghan refugees.
