“The Plight of Afghan Refugees” is a joint publication by Committee for the Welfare of Prisoners – Legal Aid Office (CWP-LAO) and National Commission for Human Rights (NCHR) based on their onsite visit to Karachi Central Prison to inspect the condition of women and children held at the facility. It describes predicament of detained Afghan nationals, particularly women and children who entered Pakistan without any legal measures after takeover of Afghanistan by the Afghan Taliban.
